Sara Vezza, is the 5th generation winemaker at Josetta Saffirio family winery. Since their first plantings in the 1940’s, Josetta Saffirio has been a house of pioneers, blending modern and traditional viticulture practices with organic and biodynamic methods to create a high-quality wine that is deeply respectful of the land. Under Sara’s leadership the winery has implemented solar power generation, reduction of CO2 emissions and received organic certifications on all of their vineyards. Most famous for her Barolo, Sara also cultivates Nebbiolo and Barbera.
