Founded in 1902 by Pietro Castellani, Cà la Bionda is located in the heart of the historically “classic” zone of the Valpolicella. The vineyard area extends over twenty nine hectares of hillside land at an altitude ranging from 150 to 300 meters, with east south-east exposure. The wines are faithful expressions of their land and of the Marano valley. Today, Pietro’s great-grandsons Alessandro, the winemaker, and Nicola, the viticulturist still work with native grapes, combining traditional winemaking processes with organic growing practices since 2016.
